He has played an active part in external verification for the City & Guilds in both the plumbing and gas schemes. He is also author to several books, including two highly successful textbooks, Plumbing, and Gas Installation Technology, both published by Wiley-Blackwell, as well as Teach Yourself Basic Plumbing and Central Heating (Hodder Arnold).
